It's more fun this way.

Dog rounding up all the usual suspects...

Yes, I am eating in front of the computer again.  It's more fun this way.  It is a "sick day" for me, and I am eating fried egg, fried zucchini, soy breakfast sausages and drinking black tea and black coffee (though not from the same mug!)
I went out Friday and Saturday night and quaffed a "cocktail" of wines, beers, and margaritas. My reward? On Sunday night I came down with a sore throat and a head cold.
I have been in this miserable state for the last twenty-four hours.

Whether it's the 3/2 Flu or a Common Cold remains to be seen, or felt. I hope it is the former. Then, I will lay off of wine and beer until my head and sinuses are clear, and my throat doesn't feel so scratchy and raw!

"Every life form seems to strive to its maximum except human beings. How tall will a tree grow? As tall as it possibly can. Human beings, on the other hand, have been given the dignity of choice. You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?" - Jim Rohn

Don't buy your groceries on a Sunday night!

My husband finds coffee makes him smile!
Happy National Coffee Day!

Do you procrastinate?
Who doesn't? My control? I use my timer.
Here are more suggestions from Brian Tracy

Why does it seem everyone does their major grocery shopping trip on a Sunday night when there are 21 cash registers and only 2 available cashiers: one Express register, for 20 items or less, and one regular check-out register.
I made the mistake of going grocery shopping tonight and I stood behind a lady who had purchased (what seemed to be) 1/2 the store from men's clothing to meat to dog food, and behind her was an old gent dressed in a tank top waiting in line with his month's supply of meat. Then, it was me, with a week's worth of groceries in my shopping cart. I had the wicked and alluring thought that perhaps if another cashier arrived to open another line, then I could be first in line at another cash register. Well, a woman pulled up in my line, right behind me, with 2 shopping carts heaving with groceries, enough to feed an army. Sure enough, after I was formulating my script in my mind as to what to say to the store manager about this obtuse situation, a sickly-looking cashier appeared standing behind a cash-register 2 lines up. The woman with the 2 carts was looking at a gossip rag. I heard the newly-arrived cashier saying, "I can take the next one." I turned to the woman behind me and said, "There's another register opening." Gone in a flash, the woman went over to the newly-opened register, leaving me to wait in line for service. By the time I was having my groceries scanned, the woman with the "two carts full" was happily leaving the store with her multitudinous purchases. No more Sunday night grocery-shopping for me!

Jim Rohn quote
"Always be eager to learn, no matter how successful you might already be. In the Millionaires’ Club, we sometimes invite a billionaire to come talk to us. He says, ‘You’re doing okay, but come on. How about if you really poured it on!’" -- Jim Rohn
As seen on FB tonight - this quote:
"I'm fine. The rest of you need therapy."

I cannot forget quotes: I am a lover of great quotes!

"Character is a quality that embodies many important traits, such as integrity, courage, perseverance, confidence and wisdom. Unlike your fingerprints that you are born with and can’t change, character is something that you create within yourself and must take responsibility for changing" -- Jim Rohn

Here is another good quote:
“The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.” -- Norman Schwarzkopf
